Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale sparked a new controversy days ago when he released a song he calls “Wo Maame Twe” which is abbreviated as “WMT”. The song got many asking why the Shatta Movement leader would sit down to compose such a song for public consumption.

The musician at the recently held Tigo Ghana Meets Naija concert made reference to the song when making a speech at the concert during his performance. Whilst most Ghanaians are not happy about the “WMT” song, Shatta Mitchy, wife of Shatta Wale thinks the song is one of the best her husband has recorded in recent times.

Speaking to Hitz FM news, Shatta Mitchy real name Michelle Diamond Gbanogah told Ghanaians that they should not focus on the vulgar words used in the song but the positive aspect of it.

“I love the song. I’m not listening to the profanity but I’m listening to the rhythm, beat and chorus because they are all on point.

He was trying to do a blend of African beat and the dancehall thing together. So far with all the experiments he has done, this is the best.

I’m not looking at the profanity. You don’t have to look at the negative side of it but lets look at the positive.”

She added that most Ghanaians can relate to the song because “WMT” is everyday language. Shatta Mitchy joined her hubby on stage at the Situs Slot Terpercaya 6th edition of Tigo Ghana Meets Naija concert, which happened on May 21 this year at the Accra International Conference to perform the hit song, “Baby”.
