The incident happened in Kano State Nigeria and both were previously in a relationship before the heinous act was committed.
A Chinese National, Geng Quaorong, stabbed his long-time girlfriend, Ummukulsun Buhari to death in Kano, last Friday.
The Police force confirmed this through a Spokesperson, SP. Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, stated that the suspect, Geng 47 scaled a fence to gin access in to the home of the victim and stabbed her several times before she died.
Geng had allegedly been deceived by Ummu who was his girlfriend, and she had promised she would marry him but betrayed him and married. Geng stated he felt betrayed because he had spent a lot of money on her but she ended up marrying someone else. The suspect said he was angered by the deception and decided to attack and kill the Ummu.
The mother of the deceased had raised an alarm and the Police were alerted and the arrest was made. Geng has since been transferred to the state headquarters at Bompi for further investigations and prosecutions.
