A goalkeeper of the Black Queens, Fafali Dumehasi has attained the rank of Corporal in the Ghana Police Service.

The 26-year-old women’s national team goalkeeper plays her club football for Police Ladies FC.

She was part of the Black Queens side that featured at the 2018 Africa Women Cup of Nations (AWCON).

The Graphic Online reports that Fafali was among over 6,000 Junior Police Officers who were promoted by the Inspector-General of Police, James Oppong-Boanuh.

The goalkeeper’s promotion to Corporal took effect from January 1, 2020.

Last week, the IGP promoted over 6,000 police personnel from the ranks of Inspector, Sergeant, Corporal, Lance Corporal and Constable to higher ranks.

The police administration, in a statement, said it wishes all the newly-promoted officers well.
