Damini Ogulu popularly known as Burna Boy who was nominated alongside Ayra Starr, Black Sheriff, Tems, Zuchu and Musa Keyz in the Category, emerged the Best African Act category at the 2022 MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs).
At the awards, Taylor Swift earned four awards at the event, which was held at the PSD Bank Dome in Düsseldorf, Germany. Taylor Swift took top awards, including “Best Artist,” “Best Video,” “Best Pop” and “Best Longform Video” for “All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (Taylor’s Version).”
Nicki Minaj was awarded “Best Song” for “Super Freaky Girl” and “Best Hip Hop,” while Harry Styles won ‘Best Live’.
