The Queen, Britain’s longest-reigning monarch, died from old age, according to the just released Death Certificate.
In the certificate, Anne, Princess Royal notified the doctor about her mother’s passing. This further clarifies that Princess Royal was the only one by the Queen’s side when she passed.
Although some of the late monarch’s children and grandchildren tried in vain to be at her bedside.
The certificate released by National Records of Scotland noted the time of the Queen’s death on Thursday, September 8 as 3.10 pm at Balmoral.
With the world fearing the worst that day but awaiting updates from Buckingham Palace, the arrival at Balmoral after 5 pm of a grim-faced Prince of Wales, Duke of York, and Earl and Countess of Wessex spoke volumes.
