Popular textile and clothing market in Lagos, The Kitchen which is situated behind the ultra-modern Tejuosho Market, Yaba, Lagos State was gutted by fire. Men of the state security Fire service ere seen putting out the fire, Goods worth millions of Naira were destroyed in the fire.
The Director, Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, Adeseye Magaret said, “We received a distress call at 4:01pm and our slot online men from Ilupeju and Isolo fire stations, as well as the Federal Fire Service from Ojuelegba, led by ACFS Adebanjo, arrived at the scene. The fire is under control as damping down is in progress.”
In 2019, its reported that there was a fire incident in the same location.
