A Ghanaian politician and candidate of the National Democratic Party (NDC) for Kpone/Katamanso constituency in the last election, Hon. Emmanuel Azubila Abdul Salam has reportedly refused to make payment for 100 packs of bottled water supplied to him during the election on 13th May, 2023.
The trader while speaking with 247AceMedia correspondent noted that Acolaste Darius, the campaign manager of Hon. Azubila had promised to make the payment immediately after the election but defaulted his promise.
“His campaign chairman (Acolaste Darius) had promised immediate payment after the election, but despite my efforts to contact Azubila via phone and text, I have not received any response. The trader confirmed to 247acemedia.
She further noted that all attempt to recover the money ended in futile as the candidate when contacted block her number.
“I contacted Azubila via WhatsApp and he blocked my number. This actions made me believe he has no intention to pay for service rendered. This delay, four weeks after the election, is having a negative impact on my business and family.” The trader laments.
