He died in the early hours of Wednesday morning at his home in Lekki.
Laolu Martins, a co-founder of Bukka Hut, one of the fast-growing eateries in Lagos State, has left his family in a state of mourning as he passed away. He passed away in the early hours of Wednesday 28 September. As of the time of this report, it had not been confirmed the cause of his death.
Rasheed Jaiyeola, Managing Director and CEO of Bukka Hut confirmed this in a tweet on Bukka Hut’s Twitter account.
In a statement released by the family, they have asked the public for privacy as they mourn their loss.
“Our kind request is that you support the family – wife, children, aged mother and father and his siblings with your prayers at this difficult time.
“Further announcements will be made by the family,” the statement read.
The deceased is survived by his wife, children, aged mother, father, and his siblings.
