Isaac Kwame Bonsu
A popular serial caller and grassroots person of
the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Isaac Kwame Bonsu has declared his intention to contest
the forthcoming parliamentary primary in the Affigya-Sekyere East in the
Ashanti Region.
The incumbent Member of Parliament is Mavis
Nkansah-Boadu.
Speaking to Daily Guide about his intention to
contest, Isaac Kwame Bonsu who is popularly known as Naa Bonsu said he is
contesting because he wants to represent the interest of the grassroots people
in his constituency.
According to him, he is also a grassroots person
who has worked tirelessly for the growth of the party at the constituency level
and at the national level.
“I am going to parliament to talk for my people
and also help bring development to the masses in the constituency who don’t
have any hope of fighting against the poverty cycle in the place”
He said parliament is a place where one can lobby
for development for his or her constituents and with his wide networking as a
serial caller for more than 20 years he is in a better position to lobby for
development for his people.
“I am a serial caller and lobbyist so I will use my natural talent to get connection for my people,” he said adding that his people are fully behind him to come and represent them in parliament.
