Information reaching 247acemedia.com indicates that the National Security has picked up the Founder and Leader of the Glorious Word and Power Ministry, Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah.
Reverend Owusu Bempah, MyNewsGh.com learned will be allowed to go home later today with two armed police escort who are expected to be with him for a couple of time until the matter subsides. The youth who had planned to attack him personally were annoyed by the fact that their leader, one Baba Salah was detained by the police after he himself walked to the police station. He was later released after his boys masked up at the Regional Police headquarters chanting “free Baba Sala Now”.
He was picked up for his own safety as there was intelligence that group of youth had planned to attack him out of anger by the decision of the police to detain the young man who led the attack on the Odorkor branch of Reverend Owusu Bempah’s Church.
Though, there are about 8 police vehicles with armed police officers stationed at the Odorkor Branch of Owusu Bempah’s church.
I blame NDC, not Muslims
Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah in his first interview has stated clearly that those who attacked his church are not Muslims.
He claimed that the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) mobilized to irate youth to vandalize his church after an assassination attempt on his life failed.
“NDC sent someone from Salaga to assassinate me so I knew those who came to my church even though they were speaking Hausa were not Muslims”.
