A 47-year old mother, Anna Andrea, died two days after undergoing whole-body liposuction at a Russian clinic, where she had fat removed from every part of her body.

Andrea reportedly had fat removed from her face, neck, chin, breasts, stomach, hips, flanks, back, inner and outer thighs, buttocks, knees, calves and ankles in a single procedure.

The procedure was said to have been carried out by a top Russian plastic surgeon, Maria Burlova, head of Abriell Clinic, in St Petersburg.

According to Daily Mail, Andrea’s daughter, Kira Fedora, said her mother had planned only a facelift but was “pressured into surgery on not only her face but her entire body, which the clinic actively promotes.”

Fedora further stated “We have already filed a lawsuit against this clinic. Dr Burlova has not commented.”

A probe by the Russian Investigative Committee is underway as the Police are investigating how the woman died when her condition deteriorated “catastrophically” two days after the procedure.
