The chairman of Isoko North Hon. Deacon Emmanuel Egbabor today had a meeting with all the security chiefs and the RRT of Isoko North. Hon. Emma Egbabor has said his government is holding extensive consultations on the possible measures meant to curb the spread of the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.

According to the Chairman, the lockdown for 14 days directed by the His Excellency Sen.Dr Ifeanyi Okowa remains an option to prevent the spread of the virus. On the 29th of March 2020, Fourteen (14) new confirmed cases of COVID-19 recorded which makes a total of one hundred and eleven (111) cases which have been confirmed, three cases have been discharged and one death from COVID-19 recorded in Nigeria. Of the Fourteen(14) new cases reported on the 29th of March, Five(5) are in FCT and Nine (9) are in Lagos.

He encourage the people of isoko north to stay at home for the 14 days and charge the security agencies to do their job effectively without fear of intimidation. At the end he gave alcohol based hand sanitizers and Buckets with angle tap, soaps, disposal handkerchief and alcohol based sanitizers to each health facilities in Isoko North.
