Popular Socialite Abass Ramon also known as Hushpuppi has been sentenced to 11 years in prison.
His sentencing was made known at the Central District Court in California.

In June 2020, Hushpuppi had been arrested in Dubai, United Arab Emirates for an extensive fraud scheme. He was extradited to the United States of America where he was charged for money laundering and fraud.
He pleaded guilty in July 2021, to conspiracy to engage in money laundering with many people within and outside the United States.
After the sentence, Hushpuppi however appealed to the US Judge Otis Wright to tamper justice with mercy as he scored high in cleaning activities in prison.
