Bukom Banku advised to shun street fights

Ghanaian boxer, Bukom Banku after threatening to assault a local hairdresser has been advised by an Accra District Court judge to shun street fights.

Mr. Braimah Isaac Kamoko, popularly known as Bukom Banku, has had a recent run in with the long arm of the law regarding an instance where the famous boxer was accused of threatening to attack a local hairdresser.

The veteran fighter is also alleged to have verbally assaulted the hairdresser prior to threatening to beat her up because the hairdresser was talking to his daughter

The presiding magistrate of Accra District Court 7, Judge Arit Nsemoh urged the boxer to strive to become a good role model for young people after he was released.

Bukom Banku was discharged because his case was resolved through Alternative Dispute Resolution.
