Kanye West has been in the news lately and it has not been for the right reasons.

His Twitter and Instagram accounts were restricted over the weekend with social media platforms stating that the rapper’s posts were removed after other platform users complained and condemned his posts as anti-Semitic.

West who has officially changed his name to ‘Ye’ had his Instagram account suspended after his post invoked anti -Semitic accusations, stating that he was being controlled by the Jewish people.  He was first locked out of his Instagram by Meta, the Facebook Parent company on Friday. He took to Twitter and tweeted or the first time in two years.

West’s first post on Twitter was a photo of him and Mark Zuckerberg singing karaoke, The tweet says: “Look at this Mark, How you gonna kick me off Instagram”

Ye then tweeted, “You guys have toyed with me and tried to black ball anyone whoever opposes your agenda,” The posts where he says he is not ani-Semitic has since been removed by Twitter due to a violation of its policies. His Twitter account is also locked, this was confirmed by a Twitter spokesperson.

The company said on Saturday that temporary restrictions were placed on posting, commenting and messaging on his Instagram account.
