Leader and founder of Glorious Word Power Ministry International (GWPMI), Reverend Owusu Bempah, has thrown jabs at Pastor Mensa Otabil of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC), for his comments about Christians who offer huge sums of money to prophets.

He has refered to the comments as unfortunate and appealed to Pastor Mensa Otabil to apologize for his comments.

He went on to express shock upon seeing a notice of specific monetary allocations for offertory with different packages at Dr. Mensa Otabil’s annual summit in the name of Greater Works.
Inasmuch as he saw nothing wrong with Dr. Mensa Otabil taking special offering at his events, Rev. Owusu Bempah said calling Christians in other churches that do same as fools and referring to prophets who take money from their followers as fake was rather absurd.

His comments are as follows:

“I respect Mensa Otabil a lot, but I won’t have him call all prophets fake, there may be some fake prophets but in the same way there are fake bible teachers too, he can’t put us all into one bracket,” the vociferous man of God fumed.
“I wouldn’t have said anything if Mensa Otabil had said some prophets are fake but putting all of us in the same bracket, I won’t allow that.”

“Mensa Otabil has a branch of his church headed by Prophet Annor, so is Mensa Otabil saying Christians in that church are foolish?” he quizzed.

“Unless Mensa Otabil tells me that he takes money collected in his church to heaven, we all use the monies collected in the church for God’s work, I am asking him to apologise to Ghanaian Christians and prophets today, Monday, July 31, 2017 if not he will have me to contend with,” he cautioned.
