Sports minister resolves rift between the two top officials

The Youth and Sports Minister Isaac Asiamah has resolved the tensions between Ghana FA president Kwesi Nyantakyi and his vice George Afriyie.

Recent media reports shows that there has been a vicious conflict between the two topmost officials of the GFA, with the vice president George Afriyie allegedly accusing his boss of being “greedy and very wicked”.

Mr. George Afriyie is believed to have sent a text message to Nyantakyi describing him as a selfish leader who will never change.

The two having met with the minister resolved all issues and have decided to work together again according to a sports ministry source.

The issue between the two top officials of the Ghana FA has made news in the Ghanaian media landscape recently.

The situation, however, hit an all-time low earlier this month when Afriyie allegedly launched a scathing attack on the CAF 1st vice president via a damaging text message.
